Independent guides for engine-powered equipment

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This site uses very few, and none of them track you across the web.

Cookies this site sets

  • Login cookies are set only for people who sign in to the website’s administration area. Ordinary visitors never receive them.
  • Comment cookies. If commenting is enabled and you leave a comment, WordPress may offer to remember your name and email address in a cookie so you do not have to type them again. This happens only if you tick the box.

Browser storage

Our Service Log tool keeps the equipment entries you type in your browser’s local storage so they are still there on your next visit. Local storage is not a cookie and is never sent to our server. You can clear it at any time from the tool’s “Clear all” button or through your browser’s site-data settings.

Third-party cookies

This site does not embed advertising networks, analytics scripts or social media widgets, so no third-party cookies are set while you read our pages. If you follow a link to another site, including Amazon through one of our affiliate links, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Because this site does not depend on cookies for ordinary reading, blocking them will not affect your use of our articles or tools.
